2022 will be the Swans' Year

This Post is written under the unfortunate assumption that the Swans will not play Finals in 2019.

I have observed that the last 6 occasions Sydney missed out in September, they made magnificent comebacks within exactly three years, including delivering two premierships. Witness:

    1. 1993 Three years later in 1996 the Swans played their first Grand Final for 51 years, also winning their first Finals game in over a half a century

    2. 1994 Three years later in 1997 the Swans played their first back to back Finals series since the 1930's

    3. 1995 Three years later in 1998 the Swans finished 3rd in the Home and Away Season and won only their third Finals game (against St Kilda) since the Second World War

    4. 2000 Three years later in 2003 the Swans defined the so call experts tipping them to get the wooden spoon, and hosted a Preliminary Final

    5. 2002 Three years later in 2005 Sydney won the Flag ending a 72 year draught

    6. 2009 Three years later in 2012 Sydney were again Premiers.

All I can conclude is: BRING ON 2022!
