What a Saturday at Picken Oval

What a Saturday at Picken Oval. Wests Prems, Ressies, Under 19s and Masters all won.

When was the last time Wests beat East Coast in Prems and Ressies?

Add this to the Pennant Hills scalp earlier in the year and are we seeing a rebirth of wests? Hopefully they build from this by promoting juniors next year and not buying in another plan load from Tassie.

Great work to all at Wests as there is too much history for them to disappear (which I had previously thought was their path).

Been quite a fightback by the Magpies. Before the season started, the talk was they may not win a game and they'd struggle to survive in Premier Division. No-one's saying that any more.

Have the wheels fallen off the ECE Wagon, forfeited 3rds on the same day!

Don’t ECE have to play Wests again this year with the F.... up draw?
    Bit premature that call Pmcc.

Line ups will be a lot different in the last round, ECE were missing about 10 prems players which probably was a major factor in their 3rds not being able to field a team and Wests had 7 prems players unavailable, so will be a lot different in a few weeks, but hopefully the same result.

ECE do have a shot at redemption in round 18, was just asking the question what happened to ECE.
Can understand a fluke loss in Prems but to lose Prems, Resssies and forfeit 3rds on the one day aint good.

Resurgent Wests comfortably beat Pennant Hills (twice this season) - any chance Wests can make the finals?

It's a long shot, but not impossible.
In the last 2 rounds they need to make up 2 games plus 15%.
Next week they need to smash Manly and hope Penno beat East Coast. The Magpies play East Coast in the last round; that game would suddenly become much more important.
