It baffles my mind that players still don't understand that you ARE allowed to rush a behind if you are under pressure!

And Lloyd is our designated kicker...

Yes....we do need a KPD desperately. One that is quick.....and a ruckman that's over 200cm's.
Blicavs dive....luckily ump not sucked in.
Haha check out Poneytail's dive!
Blicavs was disgraceful. Almost needed to be free kicked for wasting time.
Umps got back into it - love to see how many frees that got inside 50. They have serious problems Geelong. We do too but a couple of their older players and VERY near the end.
I thought Jones was good in that quarter lots of drive from the backline. Not the greatest disposer of the ball but he has done well.
Half time stats:
Inside 50's: 26-21 ....so we're 5 up.
Free Kicks: 9-9 .....didn't see the quarter time numbers but we were 4-0 up at one point early in the first.
Disposals 191-161 ....30 up there.
Clearances: 12-24 ....getting smashed and not helped by...
Hit Outs: 26-6 ....McLean trying hard but Smith just too tall, which I suspect is why they picked him to return.
Contested Possessions:76-76 ....so we're having a go, which is backed up by...
Tackles: 31-24 ....good to see.
Some better forward play and keeping Hawkins quieter and we're a chance.
Melican was getting killed by Ratugolea. Gave away 3 frees. He's reckless when he's getting beaten.
The Swans are a young team, making plenty of errors, but once we clean up our mistakes we should be a very exciting team. We are really killing Geelong, except on the scoreboard.
Ronke has stuff to work on, but he has plenty of talent. When he's on, he's very good. He's contracted for next year already, so he'll be around for sure.
For those who lament not taking Josh Dunkley, remember that by passing on Dunks, we were able to draft Dawson. No one should be surprised by how well Dawson is playing. His one healthy year, 2017 was great. Was the best player in NEAFL. The NEAFL is not as bad a competition for developing players as some have suggested.
