    RWO Game Day Thread - Finals Week 4 - September 14-15

    Saturday 14th September

    Blacktown International Sportspark
    9:00am - Womens Division One Grand Final - Wollongong Saints v Manly-Warringah Wolves
    11:10am - Mens Premier Reserves Grand Final - Pennant Hills Demons v St George Dragons
    1:30pm - Womens Premier Division Grand Final - Macquarie Uni Warriors v East Coast Eagles
    3:50pm - Mens Premier Division Grand Final - UNSW-ES Bulldogs v Sydney Uni Students


    Sunday 15th September

    Blacktown International Sportspark
    9:00am - Womens Division Three Grand Final - Holroyd-Parramatta Goannas v St George Dragons
    11:10am - Mens Division Three Grand Final - North Shore Bombers v UNSW-ES Bulldogs
    1:20pm - Mens Division Two Grand Final - UNSW-ES Bulldogs v St George Dragons
    3:40pm - Womens Division Two Grand Final - Macquarie Uni Warriors v East Coast Eagles

    Why isn't the Premier Division the last game of the season?

    To my knowledge a decision was made that all Prem Div games must be played on Saturday. I guess no difference for the grand final.....but earlier finals were played on a Sunday....so yeah I dunno.

    Most of the prems games are scheduled for a sunday for finals I believe due to the NEAFL having priority on the grounds on Saturday. It is easier for Lower divisions to be moved to a ground like kanebridge on a Saturday in the case of a NEAFL side needing Blacktown/Henson.

    Basically trying to mitigate the risk of drama in scheduling the premier division games which naturally are a priority.

    It's been a long time coming, but Luffy finally gets his premiership medal. Good on him - he's stuck around in Sydney footy for 20 years after his AFL career ended, and has made an enormous contribution.
