Some of the players partners and family are flying up to the hubs. Players such as Ablett who are currently stuck in Melbourne we also be travelling as well as AFL officials like Gill and Eddie. This must be costing the AFL millions.

Won’t they have to go into 14-day quarantine when they arrive?

It is common for people to want to have their family with them when they go away for a period to work.

Oh c'mon, Eddie is the most important person in the AFL. Just ask him.

Yes it is common to want to have your family with however it’s not usually an option that’s available or viable . They are away for a few weeks not a few months. Most FIFO workers and the like would be amused by this scenario. Usually family’s are better off in their home environment anyway.
I wonder what the players in the sporting teams that headed to the UK or SA for a 3-4 month tour back in the day would think😀

    Honestly who cares?

The players have done their best to give us a season, they’ve had to make sacrifices to do that and I for one am very grateful. Has made this second lockdown somewhat more bearable.

It feels whinging for whinging sake .
