Gee De Goey knows where the goals are! Pies are finding something.....Eagles fans pooping themselves at the moment.

Mihocek goals and Pies up by 13 pts.....the game changed so quickly. Pies have had some fortuitous umpiring decisions though.....

Must add that Darcy Cameron has done some good things too. He has a lovely kicking style.

As I write, Eagles get one back. Cracker of a game....

Four terrific finals. We have a far way to go compete at that level again.

    Agree with both your comments.

It’s amazing really. I for one never thought we would get to end of season without comp being stopped due to Covid. Much less have four cracking matches in the first round of finals.

May it last for a few more weeks ...

Yes, a cracking first round of finals. High quality footy and all pretty close. The Covid Cup season may well deliver after all....

    Four great games, whodathought?

Draft picks now being firmed up, Dogs at 12, Geelongs second at 13. The Kelly deal looking expensive now that WC have crashed out first week.

I agree as well, but maybe we can change the word far to fair.

I wrote off the season too early as well. As the season played out, the footy improved, and has been very good in these past 4 games.

I hope we can get our stars back fit and raring to go next year. Would be nice to play finals again.

Someplace in our collective minds there must be a little voice saying:

We're close. We're really really close.

If only....................blah blah blah blah blah

All excellent games ! The pies deserve a lot of credit for that win though, that was pretty special against the odds. Mason cox may be vying for LRT’s mantle of Mr September !

Agreed all the finals were great with no blow outs like other years. Hopefully it continues next week.
