That 2009 draft had so many duds in it, especially the first round, yet produced arguably the 2 best players going around today in Martin and Fyfe.

At the time I thought we did very well to land Rohan and Jetta. Who could have known what a superstar Martin would become? Well our recruiters did, given we offered our 2 first round picks for him. His kicking is beyond extraordinary. And that's only one part of his many talents.

I believe, not only did we offer the Tigers pick 6 and 14 for pick 3, as he lived in Sydney for a period of time we tried to get him as some sort of zone/academy priority. Unfortunately he hadn't spent enough time in Sydney to qualify.
Although 5 years or so ago, I was of the opinion not to go after him, under the no dickheads rule.
IIRC, there was (or perhaps still is) a psychologist at the Tigers, who spent a large amount of time with him and helped him to become a more chilled and well adjusted person. Possibly his father being deported was also helpful?

Yes, now that you've made me check, there's not a huge amount of quality there. Our recruiters probably did really well, to get Rohan, Jetta and Reid.

Rohan had 5 disposals. Only plays well when he his team is on top. Has struggled in big games.

The Grand Final: curb your enthusiasm.

This is The Age rating of Rohan. So perhaps we should forget the debate about whether the Swans misused Gary.

    Gary Rohan
    HALFFOWARD
The dashing mid-sized forward had the job of dragging Dylan Grimes out of the play. He did that well. Looked to get busy after the main break but was unable to have an impact.

    RATING: 4

Yes we did have a streaker wearing Crows jumper in 2012 GF. It was during the last quarter and the game stopped for several minutes while security got him off.

We had subbed Mumford off at three quarter time so Mike Pyke rucked the whole last quarter without relief. I subsequently read Mike being quoted as saying words to the effect that he has never been so grateful in his life as he was to that streaker. He said he was absolutely exhausted and the several minutes the game was stopped allowed him to regain his breath.

We were discussing this last night. Isn't Sachin Tendulkar "the little master" too? There are likely more of these "little

right now is basically a midget. What about Glen Boss, who rode his 4th Cox Plate winner yesterday? These guys are
    everywhere.

It's why you don't trade pick 3. In 2013 Melbourne gave up pick 2 to GWS who got Kelly, Melbourne got Salem & Dom Tyson - ouch!

I agree completely and don’t use their platforms of any description I was more trying to draw attention to Adam being featured in the advertising. I haven’t seen that many campaigns featuring him.

Yeah, he hasn't done a lot of ads really. There was Powerade or one of those silly "sports" drinks for a while, and
"ambassador" gigs with David Jones and Qantas are all I can think of.
