Thread: Round 2 (the Buddy beauty round): the other games.

I’m many drinks in but I love BT commentary. That non holding the ball for Brisbane had BT at his best “Goodness Gracious Me”.

Unlike the one poster here, I hope Rowbottom goes well because I want him to “Wow Wee” his nephew. A “goodness gracious me” when his nephew doesn’t get the free kick would also be hilarious.

Love the family aspect of our game.

The integrity of the game really took a hit tonight. I'm sickened over it. It's as bad as the 2016 GF. I don't have a stake in the game, so it didn't matter to me who won. It's just so sad to see the outcome manipulated the way it was.

My dislike for Geelong is growing year by year. Their song is obnoxious as are most of their "stars". How did the umps miss that one?

I generally believe that the better team wins regardless of umpiring but...that was an absolute shocker.

Then again Zorko didn't do them any favours sending it up the other end with the 50.

    Still, disappointing way to end.

That was a hell of a debut. What a gun he was.

Um, no. BT was right on that occasion, but his commentary is generally hopeless. He's a collection of catchphrases rather than a commentator.
My opinion is objective truth in its purest form

Only three marks though, compared to Errol's 10 last weekend. Kirky did have an extra tackle on Errol.

Just watched the Geelong /Lions game

Geelong reminded me of Footscray 2016 GF or South Sydney Rabbitos

So many hand passes were obvious deliberate throws by Geelong

Bsvegas may have been a little unlucky.

The Covid scare was fabricated to make the Brisbane fans leave the stadium so they wouldn't riot after the game was stolen from them.

    Now that's a game plan!

Um no. BT’s commentary is generally, refreshing, entertaining and highly engaging. That commentary on the non free kick for the Brisbane Lions was hall of fame.

I love his catchphrases and it’s brilliant that his nephew is playing at the Sydney Swans.

Is roving Brian back on the Swans agenda with Rowbottom on the list?
