    Can anyone explain the crowd scenario at the SCG today? Why would they box the crowd in on the non-televised side with no-one behind the goals? Are there weird Covid protocols in place?

    Giants stadium did something similar the other week. I believe its about saving $$$. By restricting the crowd to certain bays mean you can restrict security needs, only need to open certain bars etc. If those people were spread all over the ground it would cost more so be less profitable.

    Anyone else have a different thought?

    Think we can now put the big black texta through Carlton's final chances. It's something of a mystery why they don't win more games, with the talent that they've got.

    I find it satisfying that the Carlton, St Kilda, Essendon and Hawthorn, are all clearly outside the 8. All have tried to buy a flag but clearly it's not working for them.

    Yep surely about saving money with less bars etc. And also makes it look better on telly too.
