So, I couldn't see a thread about Sam Naismith, so thought I'd start one.
I'm motivated to do so by one question: why didn't Sam play in the Reserves last week?
Does anyone have any insight into where he is at? Has he been training?
(Okay, I know, that's three questions).
Someone posted on here that he was injured, but no further details
No mention of The Cray in yesterdays injury report.

Probably just managing his volume of game time to progressively build up. Missing again this week would be a flag though
He's done his knee again. The graft didn't take.
Report on AFL.com that he needs another reconstruction.

Possibly not.
1) McAndrew was an academy product so we knew about him and he’s been working with Steve Taubert and Dean Cox. Both fair judges of ruck talent I’d say, so hardly from nowhere
2) if we knew about Naismith before the mid season rookie draft, wouldn’t we have listed him as another long term injury giving us an additional pick?
