Thread: Match Thread. Swans v Hawthorn

I don't think we're necessarily short down back. Just that the defenders we have playing are getting beaten, particularly Fox

Jeez our defence looks very porous tonight. Fox is not a tall defender and is struggling. His disposal has been very poor too. McCartain not doing too much and Rampe looking very fumbly.

Not picking on him but gee I wish Papley would get involved early in a game.
I noticed the throws and I thought it was Mitchell who threw the ball OOB and he gets the free.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

@@@@, well Fox may have been.ok a couple of years ago when Rampe was out (maybe it was last year) but what he's produced in his games this year doesn't make me feel he's a better option than Brand!

Have to give credit to the Hawks defence they are out playing us at this stage seem to have more numbers around the ball and running it out with confidence.

Wayne Carey mentioned the the umps are letting HTB go. So they will let the Hawkes HTB all they like, bet when it comes to us we’ll get pinged.

Umpire talking with wingard strategy he needs to use to milk frees.
