And we gave them our premiership. Fair exchange? What do you think?

Nah, Bevo, it was still there when we left.

I don't mind the changes that much.

I suspect Fox will push to the role in defence George has had, George will go tag someone, and Heeney will spend more time forward than mid, given we're one tall shorter.

I also think Hayward will have a big job this week, potentially keeping Aliir occupied - like he did so well in the GWS match against Haynes last year.
'Delicious' is a fun word to say

Emergencies: O'Riordan, Blakey, Sinclair, and Ronke ,.
Good to see Ronke progressing after a long injury out.
Umpires will be Leigh Haussen (5), Dean Margetts (6), Nick Brown (13)

Those positional changes all make sense to me. I'm looking forward to having Gulden back and hope he gives great service into the forward line. You're spot on re: Hayward keeping AA accountable.

The changes all make sense. Having said that, it's a pretty bad reflection on Stephens, Blakey, Gould and Ling (all high draft picks) that they can't get a spot ahead of Fox and Bell, both honest players with limited ceilings.

Bit surprised McDonald was dropped, thought he might stretch their defence & make Allir accountable. Is Hayward giving away height if he is to do that negating role? Would Amartey be better suited to play that role considering he has similar athleticism & marking attributes as Allir? Hayward more of 3rd option similar to Rohan at Geelong? Heeney drifting between mid and forward ala Dusty role.

Glad to see Gulden back, hope is not lacking match fitness.

I think Sub will be between Blakey & Ronke, I'd give nod to Blakey.
