    Marks our way 72-35

    Kicks our way 117-96

INSIDE 50's their way 27-19 - might be that we are over using it a bit.

Essendon are a good team when fit - we're seeing that today. They're midfield are red hot, and our defence (particularly the small defenders) are not paying their opponents the respect they deserve. And our forwards are playing greedy footy..
We can turn it around, but it won't be as easy as the second halves of the past fortnight

I agree we haven't kicked well going forward especially when we have outnumbered them. Full credit to the defensive work of the Bombers.

We need to win this. We don't want to be playing the Bombers in a "home" final in front of their crowd.

How can we lose so many contests when we have all the bulls in the midfield. I guess bulls are not all that good at winning the footy. It's the small quick guys that win the ball.

We have to up the pressure and win more of the footy. Our ball movement has been good, but we've been hurt on the mess ups, when Essendon move the ball so fast down the ground on the turnover.

With Brisbane losing we have a good chance now to finish 4th, but we have to win our final 4 games.

Is that another game-changing intervention by Heeney?

We are so incredibly slow. When Kennedy and Parker are together we're borderline pedestrian
