We got lazy by the sounds of it......a half time rocket should do the trick. If McLean doesn't lift, Reid may not have played his last game for us.

The main problem with McLean is he does not get to enough contests. Reid while not as good a kick as McLean, gets to the contest and is probably a better mark. I honestly hope McLean lifts as I think he has a future but he would need to show something this quarter. It is probably telling that Buddy took several ruck contests in the quarter.
McLean looking like a risky proposition for next week. Only one effective possession.

We have them where we want them, everything is going according to plan!
Our pressure has been good. That's the most important thing. We're trying to refine our game by quick ball movement, but it's not always coming off. We're not executing to the level we would like, but we're not that far away. I'm satisfied with how we're playing, given that a win counts for nothing.
The one positive thing I can say about Ollie is that he has that one big fault with kick selection and execution. He often picks out the wrong target and then doesn't hit the target anyway. Here's the positive spin part: He will work on this and when he gets it right,he's going to be a super player.
Chad played well in the 2s says Tom Morris
He comes in
I love the ball in the hands of Dawson, McInerney and Gulden. Parker, Mills, Heeney and Hewett looking lively across the midfield. Franklin looking youthful up forward. Hickey is a marvel. Lloyd just keeps on popping up where he's needed.
Swans played a scratch match against Bulldogs at Whitten oval - about 2 KM from where I live - wish I knew about it.
Tom Morris saying Reid, Warner and Stephens apparently played well.
Mclean Wicks and Mr general play would want huge 2nd halves
Apart from an early kick to an oppo COR is going well. He is a good sample of the low level kick, but can deliver it with height when needed. Glad he's getting another go here, we may need him in the finals.
Rampe should be over lairising by now, needs to pay more attention to the immediate need.
Overall we are travelling well and the umps are making it a bit harder which at this stage is a good thing - I hope the boys can see it that way!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
