So funny to hear Eddie Betts saying he's going to run onto the field if Buddy kicks his 1000th in the game against Geelong! (where he'll be working sitting on the bench)

My only comment so far is just how much from afar Paddy McCartin looks like Grundy in the 39
Other then that, a slow start on a pretty wet old day by the looks of it.

Beautiful from Logan Mcdonald - great grab and kick never looked like missing.

Good mark from Hayden showed some real strength .
Great second effort from Rowbottom
Absolutely! Just has that style from afar that makes you look twice.
Took us some time to warm our way into that term, but last 10 minutes was pretty good. A lot of kicking long and hoping into the forward line at times, but some good signs. And while North is challenging us when they do get the ball by trying to break through midfield with pace and numbers, we are managing it pretty well - some good chase downs already.
McInerney in particular very busy so far, Campbell seeing a lot of it too, and McCarting continuing his push for a starting spot Week 1 (likely not in doubt now).

Not a bad second part of the 1/4 - we could not take a mark for the first 15 minutes
McInerney was very good. Warner/Stephens/Campbell good. Paddy looking pretty solid.
It looks like its not raining unless the camera changes to a closer view and you can see it is still raining a bit. One things for sure - our players will have trained in this weather a few times in the last few weeks.
Heeney really is all class when he wants to be. This needs to be the year he takes that final step to truly reach the elite status we know he could be. Lovely mark and made that kick look as easy as you like.

What odds Heeney for the Brownlow ? Very happy that he is a Swan for life 🤞🏻
Well, The Bloods I hope you are watching. Paddle um is bloody good
