Starting this thread a little early as I’m heading out to the game and I’m not sure when I’ll get another opportunity.
I’m normally an optimist but I have a feeling that we are pushing uphill today. I hope I’m wrong.
Cheer cheer.

Glorious day in my part of Sydney at least, and hopefully the east too. Fair bit of rain yesterday but it has fined up nicely. We started the day with a great Auskick session and will be off to the SCG shortly.
High hopes for an entertaining game and a Swans win today. I think the sides at their best are quite evenly matched. I normally enjoy watching the Lions in neutral games, but hoping for a quiet day from them today.
I am really really nervous about this game. I'm worried about the backline. Hopefully our midfield gets on top so it won't be an issue.
Please please please can we not have another slow start.
And hopefully Papley is on his best behaviour!
Looking forward to seeing Papley and Ronke combining up front. I'm hoping they can bring the heat.
We need to play Joey in the guts. Forget this halfback nonsense. If he's in our starting squad, then throw him into his best position and let him extract and bully others around the ball.
Is everyone at the game ? Very quiet on here 😄
Putting it out there we win by 19
Isaac 3 goals Papley 2 Lance 5 Chad 2 anyone else can feel free to contribute
Callum to continue his recent form to be the best Swan
Jake 2 turnovers that results in goals
Lose the free kick count by 9
If we start winning 8 mentions of the academy.
Really looking forward to seeing how well we match up against a genuine contender.

Mills continuing from where he left off. Look the better side so far.
Someone said recently our communication in defence was poor that goal just helps confirm it 😢
Forward 50 entries are a worry. We have had so much of the ball but only scored 1 goal.
How many times has the opposition scored a goal after a Rampe punch? Seems to happen a lot.
Conditions seem slippery out there.
Old adage for Will when going for goal “ kick through not to “
Dubious decision looked past the posts to me
Mills doing very well. Reid also. Ladhams was off for a while but he did well when he was on.
So many NEARLY goals to us.
