I've just noticed that NITV (SBS 34) are showing a replay of the Tiwi Islands grand final, at 11.15am today. Always fun to watch.

I can't bring myself to will GWS anything but misery. I've justified my feelings today by admitting to nothing more than death-riding Carlton.

"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

Gold Coast leading Freo who are the “real deal”.

I haven't really seen much of Fremantle before today. For much of the first quarter, the commentators were raving about how good their defensive system was. Since the Suns weren't getting it into their forward 50 very often, it seemed pretty good. But they were ignoring how terrible the
    Fremantle forward 50 entries were.

In the second quarter, the Suns got on top in the contested possessions, and now they're 3 goals in front at the half. Meanwhile, the Fremantle entries remained terrible and they went goalless for the quarter.

Freo have scored only 2 behinds in nearly 2 quarters. Suns defensive system must be working....now 27 pts up late in the third.

Looks like the Giants are going to send off Cameron with a pathetic effort.....and prove my tip to be nothing but a 'hopeful' one. Typical of the Giants to lie down for their soon to be former coach.

Looking ugly for GWS early in the first, 26-0 to Carlton, and GWS haven't had a single i50.

Another goalless quarter for the Dockers. They keep on bombing it long, only for it to be swatted away by Collins, Ballard and a resurrected Rory Thompson. Meanwhile Miller, Swallow, Witts and Rowell have been tougher around the contests.

Looks like being two good performances in a row for the Suns; which is pretty rare.

The Suns have been excellent and on a wet day, proved once again, the team prepared to go harder for longer at the contest will usually prevail. Footy can be a very basic game sometimes.
'Delicious' is a fun word to say

Does this make last week’s defeat more bearable?
