Let’s not care too much about the other games, guys. We need to win our games first and foremost!😊

The predicted rain bomb hasn't really hit the Gold Coast, so while there been a fair few showers, conditions are much better than it seemed like they would be a couple of days ago.

Hopefully a Suns win will keep Collingwood behind us.

Good on Hewago Oea for joining the first kick, first goal club.

Izak Rankine is adding to his already impressive highlights reel.

I'm feeling some heavy irony that the only result to go our way so far this round is the Dog's big loss to Brisbane. I fully expect Port to beat Freo tomorrow just to 'rub in' our loss today.

Always good to see. Just a pity this wasn't the Friday night game - I'd like to hear BT get his tongue around that.

    Don't count us out yet!

I had a look to see which teams were getting a bonus 4 points in the run home. Of the contenders for finals, Pies, Richmond, Gold Coast and us get the advantage of playing LOLNorf.

There is also a battle going on at the bottom of the table for better draft picks. Crows had JHF in the bag last draft but stupidly won against Hawks late in the season and missed out on him. This season, Crows again, Hawks and Essendon all have the disadvantage of likely getting an unwanted win to drop them out of the top 5 picks!

James hird rules himself out of coaching. Smartest thing he's done in the last 10 years. If he wants to stay in football, he needs a low profile job like list manager, or head of operations.

Ha. I meant the Suns. You can add Port to that if they don’t storm home.

Wouldn't quite write the Suns or Port off just yet, although it will be difficult. The Suns are now having a revival of their long running injury curse. Budarick has just joined King, Weller, Jeffrey and a couple of others, as being out for the season. While checking the SANFL results yesterday, has me wondering about Port's depth, as they lost 136-10 to North Adelaide.

But still, both sides have got enough talent to go on a winning streak. But of course, going on a winning streak may not be enough, if teams above them don't have the necessary amount of losses.
