Warner's impact has been minimal, but he seems to have picked up in the latter part of the quarter. Stephens having a quiet game as well. We have to defend the back of the centre bounces. When North get possession we don't seem to have anyone to stop them. We are looking too much to break out the front of the stoppage and it hasn't been working, although it did turn our way later in the quarter. .

We will have to see what kind of adjustments we make for the 2nd half.

It's a coincidence that the 2 Josh Kennedys, both champion players, will play their last games today.

Ok. Has he been running with anyone TB? If he's been on Simpkin I stand corrected as he hasn't had a lot of impact.

Yes he was one of the ones that helped us pull away (along with Hickey). I'm sitting front row and it's a pleasure to watch Chad live.

Terribly sad for Joey! I still felt he may have had a part to play this year, even as a serious back up. I guess the new era starts now and our young midfield players will need to believe that they can do it! I have faith! Go bloods!

He seems to have spent more time on Simpkin than others, but has been rolling across one or two others as well.

As others have noted that defensive slot at the centre bounce has been an issue, but neither of our two best defensive mids in Rowie or Mills have started there very often. Thanks to Hickey for making it redundant late in that quarter.

North are showing the well worn factoid that if you bring the pressure, you're always in the game. They've brought the pressure. We've been sloppy. Chad, the weapon, has been off his game. We're missing too many shots on goal.

Patterns emerge, but do they mean anything? No.

You would think they would try Paddy on Larkey now.

This is unbelievable. More goals from centre clearances.
