Gotta move on. Not the Doggies fault the AFL thought it was better that we didn’t get to play GWS in a GF. Then they thought “we’ll, if it worked there first week…”

    Agreed. It’s called Esschadenfreude!

Although, I do quite enjoy the YouTube work of this somewhat disillusioned Essendon fan.

So looks like Essendon blew up their club to chase Clarko, and he's said, no thanks.

    Norf it is.

I'll give him this: who'd want anything to do with a club run as badly for so long as Essendon.

I hope that makes it harder for North to wangle a priority pick or two. Although, with the AFL boys club, it'll probably soon be announced that they are eligible, and then it will later emerge, that the issue was discussed during a recent 'coffee with Gil.'

It has been a very tight knit club with Uncle Andy and then Gil in charge. Eddie and Clarko both life members. Hopefully disbanded after Gil goes but don't bet on it.

Yes. How bad do you have to be for Norf to be the more attractive prospect?

I know, right. Clarko's a few things, but he's not stupid.

And he'd be looking at the Bombers and among other things going: you have no confidence in your coach, but you don't have the courage or decency to sack him, and you leave him stranded out there publicly for a week. Oh yeah, some organisation and culture you've got there. Forget it.

    LOL!

Clarko would have had assurances over coffee that the PP will be favourably looked on, nudge nudge, wink wink

Time for the Bombers to finally get past the peptides saga … by appointing James Hird as head coach.

You couldn’t make this up. Herald Sun alleging Hird in line for shock return
