Tthe Melbourne team well and truly put the clamps on the the McCartins'intercept marking party.
Stacking that height showed we are going to need at least one very tall defender in the squad, someone that can ensure at least one McCartin can be loosed, and also deal with these 2metre+ forwards that are showing up.
I've no doubt the brothers will keep improving and get stronger, but they won't grow any taller.

However as he continued he welled up, and came straight out and said ‘Both my twins are in hospital tonight’ and followed up with :
“I’m coming home “ addressing his family.

    Teary stuff . Tough.
Thanks for that. It sounds really emotional. I hope the twins are ok. They had a hard time last year being in the hubs while his wife was pregnant with the twins, plus they had a toddler.

So next we play either :
    Dogs
    Freo
    Pies
    or
    Cats

    Is that correct ?

Dogs is our ideal matchup imo.

Grudge match and will do us well to bury them, which we will.

My worst case match up is Freo.

Surely Geelong is worst case. Dogs would be good in theory but I dont think I'd be able to watch the game live out of fear

Not sure I could handle the possibility of losing to the Dogs

I should have known that Fox would have an amazing game after a fox appeared in our backyard this week. Never seen one before. That had to be an omen.

I go in with the mindset that they are all equally as bad or good. Whichever team makes it will have won their last game in any case.

When it gets to the preliminary or grand final stage anything is possible in a single game scenario. I would waste too much nervous energy hoping for a matchup that may or may not suit us on the day anyway.

Bring ‘em on, whoever they are!

I’d rather play Geelong at the scg than the mcg.

We will scorch the bulldogs if we play them.

I just watched the mini match replay.

I have such faith in Gulden that I think we’re already a better team for that htb call against him. I can visualize a terminator style download of data gathering skills for next time.
