Only good player so far has been Fox. Where are our midfielders? Where is the pressure?

Crossing everything that was nerves and we are going to be a different, better side after quarter time.
If we could only play like Geelong, we'd be doing okay.
We are working hard to improve our draft hand.
Midfield non existent. Geelong are too quick and easily closing us down.
They are doing what they usually do to Brisbane. Use their big bodies and break through tackles. And we are slow to react from throes broken tackles resulting in overlap play and easy run down the lane. Game is over unless we get better at that and covering for the direct man.
And then when they are getting the ball out of their defensive half it is very much not much pressure at all allowing easy marks.
We are overawed coz we cannot be making so many basic mistakes.
2014 all over again

Unbelievably awful. Not quick enough, not sending the ball where the man is, forced into error by a quicker side.
We can do better.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
Well, that was an unfortunate start. Nervous kicking meant we were missing targets that we usually hit. Also missing tackles that we usually make and not getting any clear possession from clearances. That said, luck has definitely been going Geelong's way, in that almost every loose ball has bounced towards a Geelong player.
Not gone yet, but to state the obvious, we really need a few goals this quarter.
I knew it was going to be tough but wasn't expecting this.
We started getting control at the start of the quarter but all we can do is kick it long.
I was just about to type that our talls need to do something and McLean takes a great mark and goals.
I don't think Reid should have played. He doesn't look confident.
Not a front on contact free to Rowbottom?
