Just seeing UNSW is also moving to Platinum division joining North Shore. Are there any other clubs moving up to Platinum divisions?

I think Sydney Uni as well. All clubs 3rd/4th grade moving up from the divisions.
Would they play their reserve grade against Platinum Seniors level?

I think they would still see Premier Division Reserves as there reserve grade, while their 3rd grade will play Platinum Division.

A serious question…. How do we build some interest in this comp ( Sydney AFL)

If anyone follows big footy their is amazing support for their local comps.

There seems so little interest in our comp; Including at a NSW AFL head office level.

The podcast they do is a good concept, but not done frequently enough.

Something like a season preview would be a good start.

The fact the draw hasn’t been finalised 2 weeks before round 1, when other local comps have their draws live, is pathetic.

Has been like this for at least 10 years.

Promotion is a joke always has been and will be, run by muppets and until the afl in Melbourne shakes it up will be a rabble forever

It’s sad , so many clubs , so many people care yet the governing body doesn’t give a crap.

They divide and try conquer clubs, yet offer nothing for what they charge for the privilege to play under them.

Every year same people say same things …. It’s not the clubs it’s the top.

Anyway whenever season starts hopefully whoever and whatever has good season

Any trial game updates
How did your club go

Power and Mac Uni were supposed to have a trial yesterday but Mac Uni pulled out on Friday. Power had a scratch match with league umpires. A combo of 1s and 2s and 16 a side. Some solid youth coming through the club and a good hit out on a hot day.
