Tackling has improved since I last posted. It makes such a difference. Plus the perceived pressure causes errors.

Getting some clearances and a few frees helps too.

Good first quarter. Pressure good, tackling improved......leads to positive things.

Interesting game so far. Two contrasting styles.

Fear Carlton will have too much run for us over the match, but don't mind the way we are trying to play. And least we have kicked straight so far haha!

Well, two anyway.....to their five. Let's hope that evens up a bit.

We’re still letting a couple of tackles slip, but our defensive pressure is way up. It’ll need to stay that way given their forwards look so dangerous, but so far so good.

And love the rotation of Parks and Heeney on Cripps.

It feels like the dam is going to burst open at any time and we're desperately trying to hold it up.

At least we've kicked straight but umps are against us - as expected!

Great to watch Blakey when he does that.

Oh that was awful footage. Hope George is okay.

Has Chad lost a little pace? He doesn't seem to be stepping out the contest as easily as previous seasons. Maybe his skills are just being more recognised and considered ?
