That is three times now tonight Carlton have miraculously handballed with one hand while the other arm is held in a tackle.

    Amazing skills

I am so thankful we have Robbie Fox. He reminds me of Schauble in the understated way he excels in his role

It would be nice to get a little more consistency.

Longmire needs to raise throws in his presser tbh

No way that's going to happen. I'd say that all clubs have been instructed to not criticse the umpiring. They all tread softly on the topic.

What a shame we didn't find him 5 years earlier. Absolutely terrific so far.

Very pleased with Melican so far too - doing well for a first game in the seniors for a long while. Wicks also bringing something to the table too.

Enjoying Heeney being more on the ball again this week. Missing his marking up forward but having an influence.

We are lucky Carlton have borrowed our kicking coach it seems, but we are in the contest and that's the main thing.

If we get a holding the ball free I will celebrate like NYE. Cripps never gets done for it.

Gulden going well, Wicks making the most of his chances thankfully.

Warner going ok I guess. We make a lot of dumb handballs after a mark no doubt about that.

Had to laugh when the commentators praised Stevic for spotting the Rowbottom throw. I can think of at least 6 throw the balls he missed spotting in the 2016 GF.

Intercept marks are hurting us. They're stopping our good play. We have to improve our entries going forward.

Wicks has made a big difference. Our forward pressure has improved from all players. Our pressure around the ground has also increased.

For a change the opposition is missing shots at goal.

I understand the angst of the throw which got them a goal but it was a throw. I wish every throw was picked up, as they should be with 4 umpires, but they pick and choose the ones they want to pay.

But the reality is we had so few forward 50 entries this quarter it was embarrassing. They had the ball in their forward 50 at least 70% that quarter. If it wasn't for our backs and the mids streaming back we would be stuffed. Oh, and Blues crap kicking.

Their talls are dangerous but they have absolutely no idea how to kick to them. If they ever discover the secret that you kick in front of the player we are in huge effing trouble.
