Fortunately our star recruit Tom Barrass (no i on the end) did a shoulder carrying his bag from the bus before the game, which allowed Charlie C to kick a bag. Whereas Collinggggwooood beat the other top contender on their own dung heap and have a full list to pick from. Even the American is hanging on by a thread after a woeful performance, but he does play well at "The G". The cheque book mob have lost Silvagni to a knee and Walsh with a hammie. And the Pies love the "G" more than their mums. True, the week prior the salary cap cheats beat Port, but again that was on the concrete slab.

I trust this info helps you regain some of your sanity.
As much as I dislike the Pies, I admire their ability and confidence to pull themselves out of the fire- they are clearly the best team this year. Besides, we don’t ever want the Paper Baggers to win, except maybe when they play the Fairypups!

We can beat the Bombers if we play 4 quarters and with our full intensity.
    No obvious changes barring injury.
Buddy to play if fit, otherwise maybe Stretch? Ladhams is not ready yet and we should change the sub to either Corey or Dyl. I’d go for Dyl as he needs some game time.

Yeah. Clarke didn’t come on till late but still didn’t touch it. Time to forget him as a sub. He’s not a game changer.

Bombers coach is already talking about next year. Swans by 40.

We haven’t found the right sub all year. We’ve basically been using our 23rd best player in that role but it is a fairly specialist position in my view. I think the best subs are smaller, quicker, outside players. Corey Warner is possibly our best option we’ve used so far. I’d have liked to have seen Hugo Hall Kahan be given this role at some point. Dylan Stephens once had the attributes but his confidence seems to be in tatters.

Most teams all year have had better 2nd halves than us . Freo had there chances but at the moment simply are not good enough , a better team would have blown us off the park . I think we need to use someone that can add run and carry . Poor Clarke got like 3 minutes on the ground but I don’t think he is the answer he simply doesn’t have the leg speed

He does seem like the type who just runs and runs all game but doesn't have that flat out top speed. A bit like Hanners in that respect (only).
What would be ideal would be another Tom Papley who is happy just playing the fourth quarter each week.

Yes, most games we’ve been cack in 2nd half. What impressed me in the Freo game was that we were able to wrestle a bit of the momentum back and keep in front- something we’ve had difficulty with.

Agreed with you re Clarke: can tag, can snag the odd goal but has no leg speed so not much value as a sub. Corey is our best bet at the moment, though I’d give HHK a go.

No change for us. 3,4,10 and 47 emergencies. Surely Dyl is sub.

Razor Ray is umpiring. Hopefully he wants to piss off the Essendon supporters!

Yes. He would revel in the boos of an angry Bomber crowd.

I'm hoping Stephens is our sub and has his mojo back. He's had some good patches for us. I'm not ready to give up on him yet. Hopefully the kid can put it together with us and not with a rival team.
