Even worse that the Frankston footballer may not be a full time footballer and may have to go to work on a Monday morning. A potential jaw brake can have a big impact on a semi professional footballers regular life.
Looks awful as it was 5 meters off the ball and the Swans don’t even have possession of the ball (can’t call it a shepherd).
Speaks to the internal frustration and anger that Parker must be feeling. Wanted to have a physical impact and went totally off the reservation.
Now gives Sheldick a chance to jump ahead of Parker as next in line in the inside midfield selection.
That was a very unnecessary block/Shepard - real dog act from what footage and photos are available his intention was to hurt him ! Would of expected better from a former captain of our club - no doubt he will take his licks and be very remorseful etc

One really positive from the game is the performance of young gun Green in the ruck and around the ground. Not only topped the hitouts ( with Ladhams missing) but picked up multiple disposals. This is a real plus for us as this boy has real talent and is still growing into his body and getting used to playing with the big boys. A future Swan for sure
Seems a fairly routine block that ended up causing an injury.
No problem with him getting suspended but hardly fair to call it a dog act.
The question I’m asking myself on watching the replay is why didn’t Parker go straight for the ball. If you watch the replay he comes in from the side, slows down, turns to face the chasing Frankston player and delivers the hit. If he had had beelined the ball at full pace he may have got to it.
Not going for that ball and choosing to deliver the hit tells us all we need to know as to why Heeney, Chad, Adams, Jordan and Rowbottom are the first choice inside midfield and Parker’s not there.
His intention was take him out hard the ball was even in the area !

No way, if it was a Swans player taken out like that I doubt you would see it this way - these cheap hits are what we want out of this game !
Parker straight to the tribunal, which means they are lining him up for four or more. The severe impact element will be the hardest to beat, given the guy's got facial fractures.
