Swans Captaincy

Stuart Maxfield has been a great skipper but i was wondering who might be out next captain. Say Maxfield finishes the end of next year (id be happy if he kept playing) who does everyone think would be next.

I remember Matthew Nicks captained the swans once, but i doubt he will stay on the list much longer let alone captain us.

My top 5 contenders are

1. Jude Bolton
2. Brett Kirk
3. Ben Matthews
4. Leo Barry
5. Adam Goodes

forgot crouchy hes a star... pity cressa never got to be captain... but played at the wrong time

The next contenders for me are; Goodes, Kirk or Schneids! But this is ONLY after Stuey retires... for he is a great captain.

I would like Crouch or Kirk, forget Bolton he has to give his full attention to concentrating on his own game not others/team hes to up or down.

as a roughy what about Schauble?

i could just see the swans picking bolton .. personally i think barry hall would do a real good job.. but doubt hed get given the chance... leo barry would be good as would schuable.. i think we have a lot of leadership at this great club

i think by the time it comes up, it may just suit barry hall down to the ground and would be a temendous show of faith in him.

goodes may well grow into that kind of role as well.

Goodsey possibly... i think barry hall would relish the captaincy. Im not sure about goodsey as captain hes a star tho

I'd go for Crouchy - is there week in week out and never lets you down and can provide a lift when needed.

crouchy yeh thats a good idea.... this is hard actually...too many good options
