    Black Arm Bands

Does anyone know why a lot of the players were wearing 2 black armbands last night?

No idea, annoys me how hard it can be to find this type of info these days.

As a bit of fun, let me suggest that one was for Collingwood's season

I am not sure why the team were wearing the armbands last night, I missed it if there was some press on it.

However, the only bloke I saw wearing 2 was ROK and that was because he always wears one due to the death of his brother a few years back.

LMAO. I thought the tape was blocking his vision...some of those runs he made! It's like he heads for the most crowded part of the backline with the ball just so he can see if he can beat them all.

    LMAO

It wasn't blocking his vision!! He always runs with his eyes closed.

I think it helps him concentrate on counting how many steps before he needs to bounce or offload or run back the other way to reverse the distance he has run, so he can start again.

    Now i'm PMLAMO!!!!

Slander! I think the problem's with his ears not his eyes.

That short pause he has just before he sets off is the time he takes to put a record on the turntable inside his head.

4 out of 5 times the recod selected is helter-skelter and off he goes.

It makes me wish Eade had sent him to defence earlier.

Ryan O'Keefe always wears an armband in memory of his brother. So when there is another death to honour he wears two.I didn't notice the double on other players and I don't know what the reason was for the armband on Sat night.

Josh missed the reserves game before the St Kilda game and the reason given (as advised to us here by Troy G) was for personal reasons. Perhaps that's the reason and like Ryan he will be wearing an armband every week?
