Possible downtime on 1st Feb
We will be renewing our domain name in the next week - don't worry, it will STILL be redandwhiteonline.com! Just have to renew it with our new, fabulous webhosts.
They've assured me that there should be no downtime at all, as we're not really switching any settings, but I just wanted to let everyone know that there COULD be some downtime. so if there's anytime between today and early feb that the site seems to be broken, just wait a bit and try again.

Sorry to bring up an old post again...
There might still be a couple of problems with the domain registration - I'm going to try sort it out tonight but there might still be a possibility that the domain name could be broken for hours, days, whatever.
in the meantime, keep a note of this address:

it is the direct IP address of RWO, and you should still be able to access the site, no matter what happens.

Shouldn't be a problem though - the delegation is correct of course and DNS caching endures it takes a while for that to change.
The change of registration body went fine every time I've done it.
Yep - I've just been on the phone to Nigel @ AVS. Looks like the admin, billing etc details for the old domain contained the wrong emails so I haven't been getting anything to approve!

It can take a week for the actual publicly visible record to change.
Do you use http://www.swhois.net to check ? Good for checking all sorts of things like who owns IP addresses
