I mean, may just be force of habit!
Lizard is just killing it the last two weeks.
Wow he has found his groove shifting between the backs and on the wing
Young guys turning the corner is the key for successful clubs. A young player came to the Swans in late 2009 with under 10 AFL games and a famous football name. How could the Swans start giving this young player Brett Kirks midfield time? Why would they want to replace Brett Kirk. That situation turned out well.
In 2014, why are the Swans playing this young midfielder called Parker in the midfield instead of ROK? Parker was the 2012 GF medical sub while ROK nailed 15 tackles and was the Norm Smith medalist.
Why draft Ollie Florent in late 2016 and start giving him some of K.Jacks midfield time.
Clubs evolve and battens get passed on.
Yet again, the god complex re-emerges, and another left jab to go with it. Why don't we just install you as coach and we will win every flag......
What has impressed me most so far this year is how good his defensive work has been too. Improving rapidly one on one defensively, to go with his ability to crack open the game going forward. Still reckon he has a bit of leo barry about him - you never quite know what your going to get out of it, but his willingness to take the game on and open it up is a huge advantage - and he generally uses the ball well.
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."
