    B&F standings

Still another six games left in the season but who do we think would be up there in B&F calculations at this stage?

I think JPK would be leading reasonably comfortably at the moment, with the rest of the top four a battle between McGlynn, Parker, Franklin and Malceski. Anyone like to nominate a likely top 5 candidate that I've missed? Maybe one of the key defenders? Or Smithy?

I would group JPK and McGlynn together - I certainly wouldn't use the term comfortably. B&F's are judged differently than other awards, that no doubt JPK will be front runner from the Swans.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Benny has been the heart and soul this year and as a fellow player i would vote for him ahead of Kennedy even though Josh is no1 in performance

Sometimes I think that some people underestimate the spark that Benny brings when the team needs to lift the intensity

    you can have fuel
you can have a great engine
but if there is no spark
you cant drive into a GF

The reason I would have JPK ahead is that he's been doing it all year. He's received AFLCA votes in 15 of our games, and was even playing goodish football during our first month. He's also not missed any games, while I think McGlynn has missed one or maybe even two?

Craig Bird. He has had some great games and has definitely had to "play a role" in some games. We don't know want the coaches want specifically from the boys but I would not be surprise to see Bird finish 3-5.

I'm with Liz here (side note: McGlynn has missed three games). JPK is one of the Brownlow favourites - odds are he will win the Skilton ahead of McGlynn. McGlynn is a good shot at runner up, but I think Kennedy has it in the bag at this point.

Parker is the best chance to upset JPK. His first 6 weeks were easily the best of any Swans players.
Been super consistent and kicks goals.

benny last few weeks has been superb though

*Grundy may finish higher than expected. I think he has had his best year in R&W

    Kennedy by a street.

Can't see anyone outside of those mentioned finishing top 5.

    Kennedy - no question.

Benny,Esky and Lance are all well-placed to grab an honourable 2nd place. Macca will be near the top, too.

As BH says , the B&F is not judged in the same way as other awards. I presume he means the AFL "best midfielder" award ?

Brownlow Medal team leaders :: Top Brownlow team vote getters

The above is a bit out of date. Benny has probably added 3 votes v Port. I would not bet against 3 more v Saints.
