    I LOVE IT.

How good were the Aussies skills with the round ball this compared to previous year's?They were hitting targets and only sprayed it a couple of times.

You make me realise how lucky I am to live in Tassie compared to the northern states as our telecast was direct but at 9.30,only due to daylight saving. It was great curled up watching with the RAIN pouring down on thetin roof cheering for Amon,Ryan and Nick. I loved being able to have McLeod on my team.

Tuesday.. get me a ticket on that Morris bandwagon. If we are the cheer squad does that make us Morris Dancers?

You have to remember that 7 was just the same in the northern states when they had the rights. So unless the AFL can set conditions on when Friday nights are to be televised we may end up with the same problem no matter who is televising the game up there.

My main gripe is that the 7/C7 deal showed Friday night footy live (on C7) and the 9,10,foxfooty setup only shows Friday night games at 9.30. So the northern states have clearly gone backwards in this respect.

I was stating that complaining to ch9 is like hitting your head against a brick wall.

You should complain to the AFL.

It must have improved from when I was in QLD. In those days (mid 90's) you were lucky if the replay of the Friday night game started before midnight.

But we didn't have pay TV so I don't know what time that was on.

If the Australians continue to take it too seriously, they are at risk or making it boring to watch.

We all saw what happened to the Aussie cricket team.

I say they take Thursday night off training and enlist the help of Symonds. It's a proven fact you play better when intoxicated. I know this for a fact because we do it for weeks at a time at unigames.

Will certainly make it a lively match to watch!

    Excellent, the more the merrier

I thought it was great! I was totally surprised actually. It was exciting, it was fast and it had me very interested. Even my husband who is an NRL/soccer man enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next game.
