"At the start of the year I was running about 12.5 minutes for a 3km and I am down to 11 minutes 10 seconds now so I am pretty happy with that," he grinned.

"The coaches are too, though they wanted me under 11 minutes this year but I still have a month to go.

"Guys like Kirky are running like ten minutes flat so it is something to work on."

I was a little surprised to read this.

Just goes to show you how far the gap between a young player getting a game is.

Moore looked very comfortable when he played seniors last year, but he just did not have the fitness to play any significant part of the game.

I had real trouble with this bit:

The overall number 31 pick in the 2004 draft impressed in his first season, playing five games and a footwork coach Paul Roos described as "pure natural ability, you can't teach that".
When I first read it I thought "what does a Footwork Coach do? "

I know a Footwork Coach in the NRL teaches the players how to dodge the media after a night on the tiles.

    And a "clenched-fisticuffs" coach.
Good men do good deeds. Evil men do evil deeds. But it takes religion for a good man to do evil deeds.
