    This week's matches:
Round 9 postponed - North Shore v Balmain (Henson Park, Thurs 6:45pm)
Pennant Hills v Campbelltown (Ern Holmes Oval, Sat 1pm)
East Coast Eagles v St George (Showgrounds, Sat 2pm)
    UNSW-ES v Wollongong (Village Green, Sat 2pm)
Sydney University v Western Suburbs (Henson Park, Sun 2:15pm)
Balmain v North Shore (Drummoyne Oval, Sun 2:15pm)

With the postponed match, a thread was put up before that game; and in that thread:
Norris Lurker, trouble, Junior, shearer, Roo, KangaCoach, El Gato, Johno74, Rafters, The Ern, Bryan Strauchan, Jacks, NorthShoreAngel, Bomberland, BeeEmmAre, Joe Dirt, Pekay, on the fence, Adroit, The Rooster, Sasha and Northern Swan had all tipped North Shore. I'll accept that tip as being for the Thursday night game; although if any of you want to change your mind and tip Balmain, please indicate by Thursday evening. If you haven't been mentioned in this paragraph, you'll need to enter a tip for Thursday night's game. You will all still need to lodge tips for the second Dockers v Bombers game on Sunday.

Bomberland, Roo and KangaCoach will need to lodge tips for this round to avoid elimination.

The Ern is away and put tips for this round in the Round 15 thread. Moving them over here, The Ern's tips are:
    Penno
    ECE
    UNSW
    Nth Shore
    Syd Uni

Hope you enjoy your holidays Ern.

    My tips:
    Pennant Hills
    St George
    UNSW-ES
    Wests
    North Shore
plus I'll keep my tip of North Shore for Thursday night.

The ressies won't be playing on Thursday night, only the seniors. The ressies won't be rescheduled - with neither side in the running for the finals there's no point.
Not sure what's happening with the under-18s - Balmain are out of the running for the finals there, but North Shore Bombers could make it; and whether that game gets rescheduled could be the difference between them making the top 4 or missing out.

i took Shore, so thats done, good luck Balmain tho, after last weeks game ya cant write em off tho. Penno by 35, Eagles by 44, Uni by 29, Students by the same, give me Tigers in the 2nd game, and Jets to finish off the year in style with wins in both grades.

North Shore to beat Balmain by 30 points - I think the Bombers may rest a few for this one, especially considering they have had a lot of injuries and won't want some blokes backing up twice in three days.
Pennant Hills to beat Campbelltown by 32 points - the Demons are in unstoppable form at the moment, and while the Blues are also playing well, plus have a victory over the Demons in round two, the Ern looks too tough for them.
Sydney University to beat Western Suburbs by 13 points - I was disappointed in the Magpies last week after tipping them to win, and the Students won't be affected too badly by their thumping from Penno last week.
UNSWES to beat Wollongong by 22 points - the Bulldogs found their way back into form on the weekend and should pack too many guns for the Lions on their home ground.
East Coast to beat St George by 40 points - AURORA SYDNEY AFL MATCH OF THE ROUND - Embarrassing, deplorable, disinterested. That was the impression that could be taken from the way the Eagles played last week. They were lucky to get within seven goals. I think they would have had a nasty week on the track and will come out ready to destroy anything put in front of them. And that includes the ladder leaders. Either that or they will give up and lose by at least the same margin again.
North Shore to beat Balmain by 84 points - with several of their stars rested up from the Thursday night match, the Bombers are likely to come out fresh and spank the Dockers second time around.
"It's up to the rest of the players in the room to make a new batch of premiership players next year," Adam Goodes, triple Bob Skilton Medallist, October 7, 2011.
