Just got a flight down for Friday morning the 7th. Already $147 on QANTAS and that is cheaper than Virgin. Getting home on Sunday will be a killer on the finances!

Saturday night at the MCG. I had a look at airfares. not bad going down, but coming back was absolutely shocking. I wasn't going to pay nearly $300 to come back on Sunday.Hotels are a joke as well. Looking at a good $160-$220
Looks like i'll be watching it from the comfort of my loungeroom.
Crap now I've very tempted to go.. I'm supervising an exam in the afternoon but it means I could technically still make it down if I could get a flight in the afternoon
