    St.Kilda

Are so boring to watch, and yet we cop all the flack! Especially for the Round 1 debacle!

    God, I hate St.Kilda!

Sums it up perfectly. St Kilda sat behind the ball waiting for Freo to bomb it in mindlessly where they were majorly outnumbered and Freo fell for it.

    I'm on the Chandwagon!!!

If you cannot compete for the premiership, it's better to be young and exciting than middle-aged and dowdy.

Their new look team tonight is still flooding back and playing men back behind the play.
No wonder the backline racks up possessions.
    Sideways and back all game.
Swans have done a lot less this year to better effect!

I would like to agree, but I had a bit of cash on the Saints so was a tad nervous most of the game. Good ending though

It's staggering how far the Saints have gone backwards under Lyon. Just goes to show that a game plan that works at one club may not work at another. Hopefully it won't be too long before they realize his appointment has been a failure and he gets the chop, if only to serve as a warning to other clubs against listening to Robert Walls of all people when appointing a new coach. I mean, seriously!

I'd rather shoot myself in the head than watching St.Kilda again.

    Short memories

Edit: The image seems to have disappeared so it probably won't make sense unless you remember the thread or saw the ad at the time, but from memory it was a beer ad that read: "These make Sydney watchable" or words to that effect.

I picked the AINTS to win by 7 points, but watching it wanted the Dockers to win. Nothing to like about either team, the tamest match of the year, what were St Kilda actually celebrating after the siren. 18 goals betweeen them under a roof.. not a good showcase for FNF. how did those two teams get that gig anyway.

Given that performance along with their performance in Round 1 and against the Hawks last year, I'm quite glad Ross Lyon is no longer an assistant coach for the Swans.

Any Saints players who want to play attacking footy might want to reconsider their contracts.
I only support one team: The SYDNEY SWANS!!!!!

Before the start of the season this game would have looked like it would be a blockbuster.

That's true Jewels, and it would rate well in WA. FNF is usually worth staying in for, but not tonite.
The only entertaining thing was Cometti:
Harvey will soon be returning to the Doghouse, but at least his has got water views.
