Rumpole for the disillusioned bandwagonner there's always next season. With a rigorous cleanout of the list, no names no pack drill, we can go shopping for a forward who actually runs, tries and kicks goals.

There was in "05" and nearly "06" except for the drug cheats.
Now this is a thread that i would expect on the ego -centric, wank session that is redandwhiteonline.com...

You could just acknowledge that it was a clever line.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Touche. But just tackling won't do it this year.

I said Bevo is versatile, who can play up, back, mid, quarterbacks etc, etc. Bevo is not a specialist forward. One pretender to that description will be leaving us at the end of the season, possibly RU in France beckons, God knows he's been shopped everywhere else, and we will be able to add a contemporary forward goal kicker. As for Bevo expect a greatly improved contract, leadership group potential and its all good for the future.

The same reason everyone else (pro/con) brings him up at every opportunity.
