    People Power wins out over Fat Controller.

    I just watched the fans invading the ground after Buddy Franklins 100th goal. It was fantastic to see. That's what footy is about.

    I reckon more people tried to get on the ground than may have been the case usually just to give the bird to Demetriou and the AFL bozos.

    People power rules!!!!!

    Pity they gave a free again Fevola in the dying minutes of the game or he may have got the 100 as well.
    Maybe the umps got the instruction not to let it happen!

    Happens reasonably rarely considering footy has been around for 150 years, ridiculous to try and ban it, one of our greatest traditions and sets us apart from other sports.

    AFL are much better off to try and ensure it is safe and well managed than try and ban it.

    The security didn't seem that keen to catch anybody.

    I mean one of them opened a gate so a few kids could run onto the ground LOL

    But far suck of the old Sav.... The free he did get in the last was pretty soft.... The one he missed out on was probably as much there as the other wasn't....

    I noticed that too. I guess it was safer than having them jump the fence and file a liability suit against the MCC when the get injured.
