    Turning back the clock!

In fact, this would be a great way to market Saturday night's game to try and get a bigger crowd at ANZ, since we haven't played them in finals since '96. It's been far too long to talk about revenge for the '96 GF of course, but a lot of people in Sydney would've started following the Swans around that time and a Swans-North final would bring back memories of that era for many.

Who said, that day still rankles with me Plugger playing on one leg, O'Brien kneed in the face, Luffy (believe it or not) playing a blinder 'til Schwass just walked over and belted him, I still remember Anthony Stevens scratching and gouging Kelly in another game. Stuff North I hate 'em.....revenge is a dish best served cold...I'll take revenge all right.

    Only 16k sold

Richard Hinds reporting only 16k tickets sold to Tues. night. Sounds like they may as well close both top decks. Have struggled to get any media this week as well.
We are going to struggle to get to 45k on Sat. night.

No publicity or hype ,ridiculous prices and live TV coverage do not mix well for large crowds.

A few people I normally take along casually had no interest at all when they realised the prices, only the hardcore among them were willing to go.

Perhaps the Hinds article will motivate a few though, it's an old rugby league media trick especially for Origin to talk about poorly it is selling to motivate people to get out there and get a ticket.

The prices are ludicrous. Am I imagining things or are some areas being charged as Premium for this game usually only standard?

Plus it is ridiculous that when buying tickets you cannot request areas - all their computer can do is best available which is different to different people.

The AFL set the ticketing prices ... not the swans.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

This final should be at the SCG

If ever a final should be played at the SCG, this is it. North will be lucky to pull 2 men and a dog. A full SCG, even with a half finished stand, would of rocked, and given our boys a decided advantage. A half full ANZ stadium, will be it's usual underwelming, atmosphereless, self.
Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect... MT
