Who do you want for the Flag?

Now it seems unlikely that the Swans will be playing finals, who do you most want to win, of those in the eight?

    My preference would be:

Bulldogs - nice for them to have some success
Brisbane - shows how quickly you can rebuild
Adelaide - not that keen, three flags in 13 years.
Collingwood - wouldn't mind this. Victorians want a Vic team to win. Live with a year of it being the Pies.
Carlton - they'd think Judd is god
    Essendon - would be unbearable
St Kilda - just don't like them or their captain
Geelong - not the best team ever, despite what their hometown thinks

    Bulldogs but it's unlikely.

I know Collingwood winning will cause pandemonium but they play an awesome brand of footy so i honestly wouldn't mind them winning.

I would hate Aint Kilda, Calrscum or Geehole winning it.

Brisbane i can bear, Adelaide and Essendon no but the hate isn't as strong from the above 3.

    Swans

In all seriousness, Adelaide or Brisbane.

Can't handle the Melbourne media banging on about wanting a Victorian team to win the flag. I follow a club not a state.

Mind you, I don't actually give either side any chance. Collingwood would be my tip at this stage but they may have peaked too early.

Bulldogs-Would be great Footy news all round.

Brisbane-Agree. Really want to see Voss succeed as coach. Another great Footy story.

Adelaide-Strike me as underdogs. Wouldn't mind it too much. Hate listening to their club song though.

Geelong-What can you say. They've been up there for awhile, and not through dumb luck. Good on em.

St Kilda-It'd be about time. I see them as arrogant and disrespectful though.

    Collingwood-See above.

    Essendon-Making up the numbers.

    Carlton-I feel sick.

Sums up my thoughts. Got to support the non-vic teams.

    1. Saints - long drought and for Ross Lyons' sake.
    2. Bulldogs - even longer drought, a favourite local team.
    3. Collingwood - I admire Mick Malthouse and if we hadn't had Roos, he's the one I'd want.
    The rest can go jump.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Im speaking purely from the heart here - certainly not the head!

*Dogs - because they have waited since the 50's and need it for the club & its long suffering supporters
*Geelong - because I enjoy watching them play, and then there is Lingy!!!
*Brisbane - flying under the radar not to be underestimated (and the lovely Jono Brown!!)
*Adelaide - see Brisbane, minus Jono Brown
*Carlton - the team I followed for 31 years before switching to the Swans in 1995 - still have a soft spot for them.
    *Essendon - better than Saints
    *Saints - better than Collingwood
*Collingwood - god - it would be a nightmare!

I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I wanted to answer St Kilda for Lyon, Schneids and the dumpster but I realised last night when I was jumping up and down for the Bombers that even the trio of ex-bloods can't get me on that bandwagon.

Anywhere where the flag goes out of Melbourne!!
(But I don't fancy my chances.)
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

    Anyone but Collingwood.

After that, St.Kilda would be my hope if the Swans weren't in the mix.
I'd like my dad to see his team win a flag again.
