Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
gone.
Luke Ablett leaves the SwansSydney Swans Senior Coach Paul Roos said, ?Over the past month we have been having discussions with Luke about a role with the Club that was unlikely to involve him playing senior football next year.
?It?s because we hold Luke in such high esteem that we were looking for a way to keep him involved in the Club as a mentor, role model and leader to our younger players.
?After much thought, Luke felt that he still had something to offer to AFL football and has asked that he not be re-drafted by the Sydney Swans.
?We?re very supportive of Luke?s decision and certainly agree that he does have something to offer AFL football, and wish him luck in Thursday?s draft.?
Now who's going to kick it to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

1.
Where was the zero option?
The new Bevo. Though Bevo did make a late charge for the team "spud" award, Ablett managed to hold him out.
3. Not as harsh as RP but I get the drift.
5 for me. I think he played some excellent footy upon his return later in the season. He was pivotal in improving our defensive work in the forward line and I thought we were much more competitive as a result.
He's been a great and committed member of the red and white and will long be remembered as a Blood and premiership hero.
Sorry Lucky, he'll be LONG remembered for that kick to the "ex"-junkie criminal budgie in the goal square in 2005.
Didn't hurt the eventual outcome of the game, but in games which get decided by under a goal (which, at that time, all our games with the crims did) ... well, it'll be remembered.

5 for me, wasn't good, wasn't terrible.
I think he offered something to the team, I just couldn't see what

4 - below average.
Thanks for the memories Luke. Hope you can get another gig somewhere and set the Swans up with a few goals when you play against, it seems to be your thing.

Luke was a very important player for us for a few years and I will always remember him as one of the special 22 who gave us the greatest joy in the world.
I think his time was up here based on this year's performances, for which I gave him a 4, but I'll add 2 for the memories.
6/10.
