I thought the lower "bowl" was reasonably full? I thought we had 40K in the bag. What a bad judge I am!!

I went to a Souths NRL game early last year out there and they announced over 20K and it was nowhere near (and I mean nowhere) as full as we had it tonight....Guess it does confirm that Marketing departments often announce the NRL crowd figures haha

How bad do the crowds need to get to before we go back to out real home and get out of this sorry excuse for a stadium.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

I think many will turn up on the night. It will be a warm one.

Someone else here was just closer.

I reckon the as the Swans start showing some good form the crowds will return but perhaps with quite a bit of lag. When they win 5 games on the trot then we'll start to see 45k at Homebush for a team like the Saints
    It was a photo finish

ANZ is always a bit soft underfoot I reckon.

My guess was about 38,000 before they annouced the official crowd, which surprised me. Mind you, 31,300 is still a reasonable crowd.

Depends on how you look at it.

It's bigger than last year's average but it's the smallest "blockbuster" ever recorded, bar the North semi.

    They (we) deserved more.

    I was WAY off mark!!

Must admit, the people who bought super passes looked great in their white and red hats. My brother and brother-in-law loved the added bonus.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.
