    Favourite Previous Victory over North?

There have been some rippas over the years.

Paul Kelly ripped them apart in 1999 and again in 2002.

Then there was a magnificent quarter in 2005.

A satisfying first final in 2008.

My personal favourtie was the 1999 game when the champ brought us back from the dead in 99 with THAT goal and just a one man display of determination and power for Dennis Pagan to declare; "the difference out there tonight was Paul Kelly."

    What is your fav?

Do I correctly recall Cressa kicking the winning goal close to the final siren against North at the SCG, around the time that North tried to become a part time Sydney team?

    The 2008 final was special.

My favorite win over North was back in '96 when we belted them at Princes Park, was Roosy's 300th game from memory. Of course North had the last laugh that year.

Easily my fave is H&A at Princes Park in 1996.

    Roos' 300th, Maxfield's 100th and an 80+ point thrashing.

Plugger had 1 goal to halftime, finished with 10

    Dunkley slaughtered Carey

Stafford destroyed McKernan, who at the time was #1 ruckman in the land.

Of course, 3 months later was easily my least fave Swans/Norf game

Courtesy of a VERY soft free kick from Gavin Dore.

2008 - miserable conditions, didn't want to leave home, empty stadium and the Swans played out of their skins to win the final when it should have been past them. Arrived annoyed and went home happy.

Yeah the one with that Kelly goal, how come there isn't a video of that goal on You Tube? Pretty riduculous. I remember Maxfield slotting a beautiful goal in that game too, I think it put us in front or within 2 points?

The free kick to Cressa was there, a little soft but definitely there. I've rarely cheered so hard for a h&a win!!

My favourite will be this Saturday if we can achieve it. It's been 14 years since we defeated North in Melbourne.

1996 Princes Park, I was living in Townsville and it was shown live, I loved every minute of it.

Feels about as long since we've actually played them in Melbourne!!! Yes I know we have played them in recent years (the draw/19 man controversy etc) but it's not like we've had many losses to them in Melbourne since 96....

My 2 favs are 96 and 99 as already mentioned....

I was there for that one.. Cressa played a young Roo for a sucker and milked a free beautifully with only seconds to go. He kicked truly after the final siren and the SCG went off big time.. We were very lucky with that one.. Still one of my fave wins..
