    Big Goals

Why is it that the Lions-Swans games bring out the big kicks?

Watching Braddy's massive torp last night I was thinking about other big kicks in our "rivalry". Think of Baz in 2005 with a huge kick to win the game after the siren. And then there was the Brown goal from outside the 50 to take the game from us in 2008 (?)

It seems we rise against the Brions. Let's hope that it doesn't also follow that we fall against the cats and Pies, as we have in years past.

    Meredith last year

Well, the kick was huge but only in terms of distance.

    Not always.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

How about crouchy from the far left pocket at the Randwick end in 03 ha

Not as important but equally as "big".

I was also impressed with Jack's snap.
It was a fair kick from the pocket.
Better still considering the shot earlier from directly in front.
