Looking back at the Swans drafting and recruiting since the 2006 draft is very impressive. Considering we haven't had ridiculously low picks we've managed to rebuild without breaking stride.
The reason I started looking was this one - Ben McGlynn and Josh P. Kennedy - Draft picks #39, #46 and #70, must be one of the greatest trades in history. Without getting ahead of myself, two possible AA players (one more potent than the other) for nothing.

#59 Craig Bird
2008 AFL Draft
Rhyce Shaw and Pick #61 for Pick #46

Plus obviously the Preseason and Rookie Drafts (Bradshaw).
Early days yet, but things look good.
The most amazing thing from the list is during the past 4 years there is only ONE top 10 pick. Hopefully this group can destroy the bottoming out myth.
