A bloke who on the surface looks more suited to be at Randi-Wicks sipping on an illusion rather than the goal square in a 1st Grade Football team, he has continued to surprise and amaze his teamates with his rare ability to read the play and continue to consistently kick hauls of goals over a number of years, despite a wide range of opponents and teams attempting to nullify his involvement in each match.
He has played over 250 games in Sydney AFL, played in 2 premierships, kicked 500+ goals, and depending on who you ask was also the premiership captain of one of those flags.
Super's best trait is the fact he has absolutely zero ego and has never bought into any of the bull-@@@@@ that can often creep into other player's mindset and where they potentially begin to display an overstated sense of self... for proof of this, just look at his dress sense off the field... He definitely doesn't take himself too seriously...
This weekend will be an end of an era for the UNSW-ES Bulldogs Football Club and we will be definitely sad to say good-bye to Super, but hopefully the boys can finish off the year with a win, so we can all get together for a few 'froffies' to send Super off with the farewell he deserves and wants.
The day is also a past players day for the Bulldogs, so any old-timers, please come on down and cheer the boys on!
