I beg your pardon, believe it or not, but I hardly voted for my main man this year. There were better players on the day.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones who let in the light.

    2008 winner.
Sad isn't it, but he probably didn't have the year he did in 2008.

There may have been votes for Cap'n, just not enough to get him a point.

Hopefully he's somewhere with his head out of the car window and the breeze blowing in his face

    Round 19 v Hawthorn, SCG.

    Sydney 5.4 10.10 13.12 19.15129
    Hawthorn1.1 3.5 9.6 13.7 85

BEST: O'Keefe, Jack, Goodes, Grundy, McGlynn, McVeigh

After a couple of very tough weeks, it was young Jack who sprung into action and was unstoppable in the first half. Where ever the ball was Jack was attacking it with great success. Heath Grundy was having the better of Lance Franklin, and Roughead was barely sighted. The swans smashed the hawks in the centre, and led by almost 8 goals at half time to set up a comfortable win. BUT the biggesst news out of this game, wasn't the rise of fame of TDL with 3 goals, but the almost goals of Jetta. One missed, one after the siren, until he finally kicked that monkey off his back with a banana goal. his first after 19 behinds!!

    O'Keefe kicked 4, Goodes and McGlynn and Dennis-Lane 3.
    Swans by 44.

    10-9-0.

    TLM Votes
    5 Kieren Jack
    4 Adam Goodes
    3 Ryan O'Keefe
    2 Heath Grundy
    1 Ben McGlynn

    Round 20 v Fremantle, Subiaco.

    Sydney 2.5 5.8 9.9 14.1296
    Fremantle3.2 5.6 10.6 13.9 87

BEST: Mumford, Hannebery, Jack, McGlynn, Shaw, Kennelly

With no Sandilands, it was expected Mumford would have a big influence on the game. He didn't let us down. While playing a major hand in carving out the swans win, it was his chasing in the dying minutes that resulted in a smother against 2 opponents that really stamped his mark on the game. Hannebery played the game of his life and it was fitting that he smother the Dockers final play of the day. McGlynn had been his usual hard at it, scroing 3 goals before face planting into Clarke knee resulting in a fractured cheekbone. And moving on from last weeks feat Jetta proved it was no accident with a piece of individual brilliance to score his 2nd goal. Dennis-Lane again proved a target up forward. Another epic win.

    McGlynn 3 goals, Dennis-Lane 2.
    Swans by 9 points.

    11-9-0

    TLM Votes
    5 Shane Mumford
    4 Dan Hannebery
    3 Kieren Jack
    2 Ben McGlynn
    1 Tadhg Kennelly

(33 Voters, 8 players received votes)

    Leaderboard after 20 rounds

    41 Adam Goodes
    31 Shane Mumford
    30 Nick Malceski
    27 Dan Hannebery
    24 Kieren Jack
    21 Ben McGlynn
    20 Jude Bolton
    16 Jarrad McVeigh
    15 Lewis Roberts-Thomson
    15 Ryan O'Keefe
    12 Daniel Bradshaw
    12 Nick J. Smith
    12 Tadhg Kennelly
    9 Heath Grundy
    4 Gary Rohan
    4 Mark Seaby
    3 Josh Kennedy
    3 Rhyce Shaw
    2 Ted Richards

Goodes extends his lead to 10, 2 games clear with 4 games to go, Mumford in second and Malceski 3rd, while Jack rose by 8 votes to be 5th.

I could use a new pair, I wonder where he gets them?..... On a serious note am I the only one who voted for Josh Kennedy. I'm glad the coaches valued him more than the RWO ers. As usual the flashy players get all the votes.
