Odd time for a game. Shows the AFL thinks we have some chance of making the finals, or it would be on Sunday. Clearly they can't think the Loins have any chance.

    Patrick Keane's words were -
All teams currently in top 8 programmed to play by Saturday night. Haw and Frem scheduled so they can return to home state by night of 3/9.Coll and Geel to play on Friday night as both likely to finish top two and to enable maximum schedule options for week one finals.
1 game on the Friday - 5 games on the Saturday.

What a stupid time for a game. Right smack bang in the middle of dinnertime.

There will be trouble, mark my words!!!

177th Senior AFL Match - Round 4, 2009 - Sydney vs Carlton, SCG. This is obviously out of date. I suppose I'll update it once I could be bothered sitting down with the fixture and working it out....

Twitter feed says "Member survey indicated that many supported playing twilight matches." Any members here participate in the survey?

Personally, I don't have strong feelings either way, apart from that I enjoy a sunny afternoon game. Not too many of those this year.

I can't remember the survey too well but I would imagine that the twilight game option was the best of a bad bunch. Doesn't mean we wanted one : )

Yeah, how these surveys are phrased is very important. "Do you want to see more twilight games?" is very different to "in principle, are you opposed to twilight games."
