Hang on, I know I saw Jesse mark over his head this year, at least once.
If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time
I'm sure it plays a part.
It was interesting watching On the Couch tonight and Chris Scott talking about Tom Hawkins.
He said that Tom's endurance was down because they played him as a second ruckman for most of the season. Once Vardy and someone else stepped up, they let Hawkins settle into a forward position. They found that this improved things a lot for him.
I couldn't help wondering if this hasn't been Jesse's problem this year. Whereas Mummy, I imagine has a greater level of fitness and therefore endurance.
Other things from tonight's show:
- It was pretty clear from Scott that Hawkins will be with the Cats next year so we can drop that one off these threads now;
- Players that lock arms before a GF always lose;
- More bad footage of Meaty and some shocking lip sync;
- Ten years of On the Couch done and dusted. How quickly has that gone? I still remember enjoying Monday Experts!!
Hopefully someone will give us a "learned" answer to this fitness/endurance question. Where's Dr Oz when you need him ?
In memory of my little Staffy - Dicey, 17.06.2005 to 1.12.2011- I'll miss you mate.
Jesse took a mark that won us the game against North.
